Hey there! I’m Mindy, the heart behind Mädel, crafting jewelry for over 25 years since my first class in San Francisco after leaving the Midwest.

My designs blend contrasting textures, vintage elements, and modern aesthetics—often incorporating treasures from salvage stores. These “modern heirlooms” carry history while making bold contemporary statements. Each piece is designed to transform not just your outfit, but your entire presence.

Mädel (pronounced with a long ā) is Bavarian for “girl” and commonly used among women for their friends—“meine Mädels” means “my girls.” This name connects my German heritage with my femininity, passions and creativity.
